I brought this coat from my homeland, Western Ukraine, 24 years ago. It was given to me by my grandmother Sonia, and she received it as a wedding present from her father, my great-grandfather.

My great-grandfather, Anton Shimanovich, from the village of Budyatichi, was a furrier. He not only cut sheep skins, but also made clothes out of them.

My grandmother handed me the coat at the moment when I told her about the meeting with my future husband.
