I know my grandmother only from photos and my dad’s stories. The needle case is one of my grandmother’s things that was saved and is kept by me. My grandmother had a hard life, she survived the siege of Leningrad. Unfortunately, she died early. I am pleased to realize that my grandmother was a creative person, and found time for embroidery. Apparently, her talents and creative abilities were passed on to her children and grandchildren. I love to create unique things too. Perhaps they will be valuable for someone.
