It just so happened that my family and my husband’s family started a tradition of collecting wristwatches that belonged to our family and friends. I wanted to give these things a second life. That’s how the idea to create a watch in the shape of a violin was born. In the project I used the most valuable pieces of the family collection, the watches of my husband’s grandparents.

My husband’s grandmother, Savelyeva Alekseevna, was born on 18.10.1935. She was an accountant. She had three sons and brought them up.

Husband’s grandfather, Savelyev Mikhail Stepanovich, was born 14.09.1930. From the age of fourteen he worked in the forest on timber harvesting. He was a foreman of woodcutters. On his retirement he did carpentry.  

Now we have such a family heirloom, that is always in sight of the family and carries pleasant memories.

The number thirteen in this project was not accidental, as many of my relatives and people close to me, including me, were born on the thirteenth. For our family it is very meaningful and is considered lucky.
